NOORDWES. – Vyf persone is Saterdag tydens die uitsaai van die Wêreldbekerrugbywedstryd tussen die Springbokke en Engeland beseer toe ‘n dek langs ‘n ondersteunerspark (fan park) in Kockstraat in Rustenburg geval het.
Stook Koffie Roostery het Sondag die plaaslike nooddienste, verkeersdepartement en die polisie vir hulp tydens die voorval in ‘n sosialemediaplasing bedank. Hulle het ook gesê hulle is weer oop vir besigheid.
Die plaaslike munisipaliteit het in ‘n verklaring gesê die voorval waartydens vyf persone van ‘n podium geval het, sal ondersoek word.
Volgens Rustenburg Herald was die ondersteunerspark by ‘n skool langs Stook Koffie Roostery. Rugby-entoesiaste het as gevolg van die reënweer vir skuiling na die Roostery geskuif. Sommige was onder en sommige bo-op die dek toe die voorval plaasgevind het.
