Archbishop Desmond Tutu, died in Cape Town at the age of 90, was known all around the world.
Desmond Mpilo Tutu, was a South African Anglican archbishop and theologian and was known for his work as an anti-apartheid and human rights activist. He was the bishop of Johannesburg from 1985 to 1986 and archbishop of Cape Town from 1986 to 1996. He was the first black South African in this position.
He was a man of strong faith and conviction, but also of words. He did not hesitate to use humor and anger to express his values and outrage.
