Pierré Bellingan (42), the bar owner from Bloemfontein who was arrested last Wednesday after he allegedly injected a 17-year-old with tik, appeared in the Bloemfontein Magistrate’s Court again on Thursday.

Bellingan appeared in court for the first time last Friday on charges of attempted murder and handling a firearm under the influence.

The 17-year-old boy’s father opened a case at the Bainsvlei police station after his son was found the next morning in Bellingan’s driveway at his house in Woodland Hills.

Bellingan allegedly asked the boy to take him home the night after they visited Gregory’s Pub. He then apparently also invited the boy into his house. Read the previous article here.

Lt. Col. Thabo Covane, police spokesperson, confirmed to FiND iT on Friday that Bellingan is out on bail of R2 000 and that he will appear in court again on 17 February 2022.
