Police are investigating a case of culpable homicide after the body of a teenager was found lying on route R63 between Qonce and Masingata on Sunday 3 April 2022.
Warrant Officer Majola Nkohli, police spokesperson, says on the mentioned date, police were summoned to a complaint of a person lying on route R63 near Qonce. They found the lifeless body of a teenage boy.

The deceased person sustained multiple injuries and was later identified as Lisakhanya Lwana (17).
“The circumstances surrounding Lwana’s death are unknown at this stage and police are urging anyone with information that could assist with their investigation to contact the nearest police station,” said Nkohli.
