Gauteng police have offered to pay R50 000 to anyone who has credible information on where the little girl Amahle Michel Thabethe is. The 8-year-old girl went missing in 2019 and was last seen in Tsakane on 6 April 2019. It has been three years and there has been little progress in the search for this little girl.
Police said on the day Thabethe went missing, she was playing in the street with other children when an unknown man approached them, asking for directions to a certain house. Thabethe volunteered to show the man where the house was and was never seen again.

Dimakatso Sello, the police spokesperson, said, “At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a blue and white T-shirt and black jeans with pockets printed with hearts.” Following the information that was presented, a task team was formed to investigate the matter.
Sello said anyone who has valuable information that could lead to finding Amahle or the suspect who was last seen with her should bring the information forward.
