The two sisters from Ulundi, KZN who were kidnapped on Thursday, 3 March, have been found dead.
The siblings Asimbonge Mbalenhle Shongwe (12) and her seven-year-old sister, Sandakahle Sharon Manana from Ulundi, KZN were reportedly kidnapped by their stepfather.

It’s reported that last week Friday Sandakahle’s body was found with injuries while Asimbonge’s was discovered on Sunday 6 March.
KwaZulu-Natal Social Development MEC Nonhlanhla Khoza condemned the two murders.
“It is very painful that we continue to count the bodies of innocent children being murdered by heartless individuals in our province. It is really shocking and despicable that an old person can target defenceless children and kill them. That person didn’t even listen to the pleas and cries for mercy from the children,” Khoza said.
“The police will have to find him to pay for his sins. It is very painful that we are living in a country where human lives are taken lightly. Killing an innocent child because of disputes between adults is no solution,” she added.

She also urged community members who might have any information on the whereabouts of the accused to contact the police.
