Camilla, 74, the Duchess of Cornwall, tested positive for coronavirus, Clarence House announced.
A spokesperson said: “Her Royal Highness, the Duchess of Cornwall, tested positive for Covid-19 and is now self-isolating. We continue to follow government guidelines.”
She became ill shortly after Prince Charles (73). He also self-isolates. Royal officials confirmed last week that the queen had no symptoms, and told MailOnline today that they “have nothing to add to this” after Camilla’s positive test.
Camilla contracted the virus for the first time, but Charles contracted it for the second time. She made visits last Thursday – the day Charles tested positive.
