KATHU – Toe polisielede op 19 Maart op patrollie deur die strate van Kathu was, het hulle ’n verdagte sien hardloop en hom agternagesit. Die polisie het ’n 32-jarige man wat vermoedelik by ’n huis in Esdoringstraat ingebreek het, in hegtenis geneem.

NC: A 32 YEAR OLD MAN ARRESTED IN KATHU FOR HOUSE BREAKING AND THEFT
On Thursday, 19 March 2020 at 15h50 members of Kathu saps crime prevention unit Sgt Ben Eiman, Constables Canchibato and boing patrol duty around Kathu when they saw members of the community giving a chase. The officials then reacted by chasing and apprehended the suspect.
It is alleged that the suspect was involved in house breaking and theft. Makeover it was also alleged that during the house breaking and theft undisclosed amount of money was stolen at that particular house at Esdoring Street Kathu.
It was later established that’s the suspect was not alone but other suspects he was with fled the scene with a black Mazda 5 vehicle.

The suspect will appear before the Kathu magistrate court soon.
The Cluster Commander of John Taolo Gaetsewe Major General Johan Bean applauded Sgt Eiman, Constables Canchibato and Moleme for their dedication and commitment. General Bean also praised Kathu community members for their involvement in fighting crime with the police. End
