Homeowners in Monument Heights, Kimberley, together with the Sol Plaatje municipality, joined hands with a local contractor to reseal Kekewich Street and Chamier Street.
The resealing of the road will take four to five days, with construction commencing on May 3, 2023.
Motorists are advised to take an alternative route, as it is not possible to drive over the wet tar for four hours after the tar has been poured. This could potentially lead to traffic congestion or delays.
