Granit Xhaka clashed with fans of his team Arsenal in 2019 when they booed him off after he was substituted in the Premier League match against Crystal Palace.
Xhaka was also stripped of the captaincy by his then coach Unai Emery and says he was ready to see the exit door.

My bags were packed. The passports were out,” Xhaka told The Players’ Tribune. “I was done with Arsenal. Finished. There was a contract on the table from another club, and all I had to do was sign.”
The Switzerland international admitted that his relationship with Arsenal fans is no longer the same, but he’s willing to improve it.
