Former Orlando Pirates coach Roger De Sa has made the decision on his future with the Egypt national team.
De Sa was an assistant coach to Carlos Queiroz who recently left his job after failing to qualify for the Qatar FIFA World Cup.

“He was not sacked, but he rather resigned, so he didn’t take the option to stay on four more years,” De Sa told KickOff.
“I’m home also and going back to Egypt on the 30th. I will probably resign as well.
“We were both contracted until December. It’s pointless staying for four more matches and leaving in December.
“We couldn’t agree on a new contract extension as the EFA wanted a four-year extension.
“We’d prefer to rather allow new staff to start afresh. So it’s a good break-up.

“We took Egypt 16 places up to fourth in Africa in six months, it’s a job well done.
“We’re all well admired by all in Egypt. Now we salute the future.”
De Sa says he’ll be soon ready to take a job if any offer comes to the table.
“I’ll fly back home on the 29th of April and probably finish off as well. So will be free by 1 May.”
