Police are searching for at least two suspects who gunned down two males who were in a white VW Polo on Thursday, 31 March 2022 in Koliti Street, Ikamvelihle.
Captain Andre Beetge, police spokesperson, says this vehicle was entering into a driveway of a home in Koliti Street. The two unknown suspects also entered the yard and started shooting at the occupants of the Polo.

The 38-year-old driver and a 29-year-old passenger passed away on the scene. Another 35-year-old male was injured in the incident and is receiving medical treatment.
“The suspects fled the scene after the shooting. The motive for the attack is still being investigated,” said Beetge.

Murder and attempted murder cases were opened by the Ikamvelihle SAPS. The investigation is being led by the Eastern Cape Provincial Organised Crime Investigation Unit (POCI).
