Since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was sacked as Manchester United manager last year, many have been wondering who’s next to take the hot seat. Erik ten Hag and Mauricio Pochettino are being rumoured to be the top candidates for the job.
They appointed Ralf Rangnick as an interim manager until the end of the current season but it seems like he won’t be taken permanently.

Speculations surrounding the world of football have been suggesting that ten Hag and Pochettino are the favourites to take charge of the Premier League giants.
According to Sky Sports, Erik ten Hag was interviewed at the start of the week by the Manchester United hierarchy who look to be impressed by his vision and philosophy.
However, sources from United reportedly revealed that an interview with ten Hag doesn’t mean he’s emerged as the first choice but the club still plans to speak to other candidates.

Ten Hag has spent five years as a manager at Ajax Amsterdam and is currently on a contract that will run until 2023.
He has won two league titles and two KNVB cups and Ajax are currently on top of the Eredivisie table.
