Tom Cruise has captured the hearts of South Africans as he is in the country filming Mission Impossible 8. The American film star is in Limpopo staying at the luxurious Hoedspruit Wildlife Lodge and has captured the hearts of many South Africans when he said he would love to live here.
According to Mel Owtram, the owner of Antares Bush Camp and Safaris, “Cruise uses a six-seater helicopter every morning when he goes to film location, which he pilots himself.” The residents wake up every morning to greet the actor as he goes to work and do the same when he gets back from filming.”
Fans have started making way to see the famous actor when he is back from a shoot. In a YouTube video by the Owtram family, Cruise is seen getting out of a helicopter and greeting the fans. He thanked all the fans for coming out to see him and posed for pictures with them.

When the American star was asked if he would like to move to South Africa permanently, Tom said that would be great. “I would love to. It would be nice to live here permanently. We have wanted to come here for a very long time,” he said.
On Tuesday, as the fans waited for Tom to get back from a long day of work, Owtram’s 13-year-old daughter Savanna drew a huge heart with her foot with Tom’s name in it. The hearts of the fans were touched just as much as Cruise’s was when he saw it.
