With long-serving judges Randall Abrahams and Unathi Nkanyi having exited Idols SA, the famous music competition has unveiled two new faces who’ll be taking over.
It’s the actress, singer, and television presenter Thembi Seete, and the award-winning rapper JR Bogopo, who will be joining the crew in the 18th season of the competition.
Somizi Mhlongo, who arguably has been the most loved judge at Idols, returns along with Tebogo ‘Pro-verb’ Thekisho, who will continue as a host.
For this year’s season, online auditions have already taken place from the 23rd of January to the 5th of February.
The Theatre Week is set to take place in the mid-year before the last 16 begin around August.
