Ulrich le Roux from Paarl Boys’ High School in the Western Cape is the top learner in the country.
Le Roux, who had Afrikaans Home Language, English Home Language, Mathematics, Accounting, Physical Sciences, Information Technology and Life Orientation as subjects, achieved first place in the NSC examination of 2021.
The Paarl Boys’ High School has meanwhile congratulated Le Roux on Facebook for his achievements.

The three top achievers all come from the Western Cape – Ulrich le Roux, Simone Wessels from Stellenberg High School and Ahyoung Moon from Rhenish Girls’ High School in Stellenbosch.
Ms Angie Motshekga, Minister of Basic Education, announced Ulrich as the top learner of matric 2021 in Auckland Park in Johannesburg on Thursday afternoon.
