The body of an elderly woman was found with stab wounds to her head and neck. Her body was found in the doorway of her home in Gqeberha.

On January 2, 2022 around 13:00, the family of Nontsuku Annie Solomon (86) found her body in the doorway of her room at her home in Greenfields.
She was stabbed several times in the head and neck. The motive for the murder is still unknown, but theft can not be ruled out at this stage. A case of murder is currently being investigated.
