Bigger rescue boat in search of 17-year-old who disappeared in Orange River

Van Reenen Olivier (17), the teenage son from Kakamas who disappeared in the Orange River on Tuesday, is still missing.

Captain Nelis Prins, police spokesperson, confirmed om 14:00 Thursday afternoon that there are no new developments in the search yet.

“The search has not yet yielded any results. A second and larger SAPS lifeboat is now on the water.”

In a previous article, FiND iT reported Van Reenen was swimming with a friend in the Orange River when he suddenly disappeared.
