NORTHERN CAPE – A couple aged 36 and 30 was arrested this morning in a joint operation by the Hawks ‘South African Narcotics Enforcement Bureau and Tactical Response Team for alleged dealing in drugs.
The team acted on information regarding drugs being sold at Horse Wood Street, Green point, Kimberley. A search and seizure disruptive operation was conducted at the said premises. During the search, 10 gram of crystal methamphetamine (Tik), 3 grams of Kat, two cell phones, scale and an undisclosed amount of money were seized for further investigation.
Both suspects are detained and expected to appear before Kimberley Magistrate’s Court on Monday, 29 November 2021.
