Hannah Price, the stepdaughter of Chris Daughtry, was found dead in her home in Nashville last week. Her death is reportedly being treated as a homicide. In the wake of the news, Daughtry cancelled his tour dates.
Fentress County police are conducting an investigation into the death of Hannah Price and have reportedly told her family that her death was a homicide.
Price’s boyfriend, Bobby Jolly was reportedly arrested and taken to Fentress County Jail on the same day that Price’s body was discovered, however detectives have not stated if he is a person of interest or a suspect in Price’s death.
Deanna, the mother of Hannah Price, said that her daughter had sustained injuries prior to her death.
In an Instagram tribute, she wrote: “My first born. I love you endlessly Hannah. Our family would like to thank you all for the outpouring of love as we grieve the loss of our daughter Hannah. We are awaiting the autopsy results to determine how Hannah sustained the injuries that caused her death. Our hearts are broken.”
Daughtry, 41, has since released a personal statement, saying he is ‘devastated’.
The It’s Not Over singer write on Instagram: ‘I am still processing the last 24 hours. I am absolutely devastated and Heartbroken.
‘I just recently in the last week lost my mother to cancer but I was blessed with the chance to say goodbye and I was processing it privately. We never got to say goodbye to our precious Hannah and it’s another huge hit to our family.
