A 24 year old man was arrested following a gruesome discovery of human body parts which were discovered by an off duty police officer who stays in Protea Glen.
The young woman discovered these body parts when she told het boyfriend that she was hungry. She looked for food in the fridge. This is when she discovered human body parts stored in the fridge.
Following this horrific discovery the woman screamed, alarming the community. A retired cop came to investigate the matter and alerted the police.
According to brigadier Brenda Muridili, “It is reported that the man is a tenant at the back rooms in that yard and his partner discovered the body parts after he had left to go to the shops.”
Following this gruesome find, the body parts will be sent to the forensic science laboratory for identification.
The suspect will appear in court soon following this gruesome murder.
