The man accused of killing Angie Angelique Fourie (24) in her apartment on Sunday night will appear in court tomorrow on a charge of murder.
Awie Fourie, Fourie’s father, will not attend the court proceedings tomorrow because he has other obligations in Durban, but says there will be other family members in court who will keep him informed.
“I work for myself and unfortunately if I do not work, I also have no income. I have to be in Secunda again Friday morning to identify my daughter’s body. I have to wait for the post-mortem that will only take place tomorrow. “
Fourie further says that at the moment there are so many versions of what really happened.
Fourie says his daughter’s neighbour saw her apartment on fire later that evening and went to investigate. He found Fourie lifeless on the floor with a stab wound to her neck and marks on her body.
Christopher (Stoffie) Graham Watson (34), Angie Angelique Fourie’s ex-boyfriend, reported to Norkem Park police station at 06:45 on Tuesday morning after a nationwide search was launched for him, because no one could find him.
Col. Luke Enslin confirmed Watson had made himself available for questioning.
