The man running the Nike Jordan group, Larry Miller, has admitted that he committed a murder.
72-year-old Larry Miller admitted during an interview that when he was 16-years-old he shot and killed an 18-year-old rival gang member.
He served his jail time for other gang activities and while behind bars, he obtained a degree in accounting. Miller said that at the time of the murder, he was drunk and looking for revenge after his friend was stabbed to death.
Miller said that keeping the murder a secret has had a heavy impact on his mental health, causing reoccurring nightmares and constant migraines but he added that keeping the truth buried allowed him to build his career to where he is now: the chairman of the Nike Jordan brand.
Miller states that he hopes his story will inspire those who have been in prison and that it will be a lesson to society on how prisoners are viewed.
