Stage 2 blackouts will be suspended on Thursday at 5 am. Eskom is warning, however that they could resume at short notice.
The power utility says that they have conducted some repairs to generating units and will continue with its maintenance programme.
The public is urged to use electricity sparingly in order to minimize the possibility of further power cuts.
