PETRUSVILLE. – ROCKET HEMS and Care4You Karoomed and had to jump quickly to assist an elderly woman who was seriously injured after she fell.
Wimpie Fourie, co-owner of Care4You ambulance service, says their Karoo branch was called out early this morning to a scene where an elderly lady fell.
“Unfortunately, the lady was so hurt that we had to call the ROCKET HEMS air ambulance service. They transported the injured lady to MediClinic Gariep in Kimberley.”
Jaco Botha was the pilot in command. Vandre van Vuuren and Etienne van der Merwe were the paramedics. Ewald Maree despatched.
