The police in Barkley West have opened an inquest docket following the discovery of an unknown body.
The body was found floating in a river by a passer-by. At this stage the male victim is unidentified and is believed to be in his late fifties. At the time of the discovery the victim had on blue overall jacket, brown trousers, green belt and had one eye. The police appeal that anyone who may know a person with this description to please contact the Barkly West detectives on 082 458 9670. All information received will be treated as confidential.
