NORTHERN CAPE : Kakamas Police bust grocery store owner for dealing in liquor illegally.
The arrest was effected on Wednesday, 02 September 2020 at approximately 9pm, subsequent to the information received regarding suspected dealing in liquor at a local grocery store in Kakamas. Liquor to the value of more than R30 000 was found stored inside the store. A 39-year-old man was arrested and is expected to appear before the Kakamas Magistrate’s Court on Friday, 04 September 2020 on count of dealing in liquor illegally.
The ZF Mngcawu Acting District Commissioner, Brigadier Besnaar hailed members for arresting those who are continuing to contravene the Northern Cape Liquor Act.
