NC: GALESHEWE FCS ADVOCATES AGAINST GENDER BASED VIOLENCE VIA COMMUNITY RADIO STATION
The Galeshewe FCS unit communicated with the community about gender based violence via a radio engagement on Revival FM on 26 and 27 August 2020 in Kimberley.
Capt Sabata Tsiu from Galeshewe FCS spoke about gender based violence issues with Revival FM presenter, Blanche Mthebe and pastor Theys.
The issues addressed included a boy’s and a man’s perspective and looked into the shortcomings, moral aspects, the roles of boys and men in the society and restoration of roles in biblical and policing aspects.
Both sessions were received very well by the listeners and their was good interactions between Capt Tsiu and the listeners.
Lt Col Marli Strydom, Unit Commander of Galeshewe FCS, applauded Capt Tsiu for his contribution towards making a difference and influencing men and boys positively.
