Members of the SAPS Group C under the Command of Brigadiers’ Merle Coghlan, Pinky Thusi and Gilroy Tait continued to celebrate Women’s Month by supporting the Women to Women NGO for vulnerable and abused women and children.
The victims of the Centre, situated in Kirstenhof, were spoilt with brand new coffee mugs, bedding and warm blankets for this cold winter months in Kimberley.
Brig Merle Coghlan did the handing over of goods and rendered a short keynote address, while Col Maggie Ndzutha outlined the purpose of the day and Lt Col Odette Raynard did a message of support. The Founder of Women to Women NGO, Priscilla Smith, was astounded and relayed her gratitude for the continued relations and support by the SAPS.
The team flagged several awareness and supportive messages that speak to this year’s theme “Generation Equality: Realising women’s rights for an equal future ”.
