NOORD-KAAP – Twee verdagtes van onderskeidelik 28 en 34 jaar oud is op 8 Mei 2020 vir die beweerde vervoer van alkohol in hegtenis geneem. Die verdagtes is by ’n padblokkade op die N14 gestop en drank ter waarde van R30 000.00 is gekonfiskeer.

On Friday, 8 May 2020, two men 28 and 34 years old were arrested at a roadblock conducted by the SAPS and the SANDF on the N14 road between Kathu and Kuruman at about 22:00.
The total value of the liquor seized amounted to R30 000-00.
The two will appear before the Kathu magistrate court on charge of contravention of National Disaster Management regulations very soon.
The JTG Cluster Commander , Major General Johan Bean applauded the police and the SANDF members for their commitment during this period.
