VICTORIA-WES – Lede van die polisie se blitspatrollie-eenheid het gister 4 April drie mans vir dwelmhandel in hegtenis geneem.
Die polisielede is in die Pixley Ka Seme-distrik vir die toepassing van die wet op rampbestuur ontplooi. Hulle het inligting ontvang oor vermoedelike dwelmhandel by ’n verdagte huis en het dadelik ondersoek gaan instel.
Hulle het Mandrax-tablette, dagga, twee weegskale en ’n bedrag geld op die perseel gevind.

NC: Three arrested for dealing in drugs
On 04 April 2020, the members of Flying Squad that are deployed in Pixley Ka Seme Cluster for enforcing the Disaster Management Act Regulation arrested three suspects for dealing in drugs.
It is alleged that the members were conducting patrols in Victoria West when they received information of a suspected drug peddling at a certain house.
The information was immediately operationalised and upon searching the said house, 13 quarters of mandrax tablets, half tablet weight 08g, small plastic of dagga, two scales and undisclosed amount of cash were discovered.
Three male suspects were arrested and are expected to appear before Victoria West Magistrates’ Court soon on charges of dealing in drugs.
The Cluster Commander of Pixley Ka Seme, Brigadier Nomana Adonis has applauded the members for their swift reaction and also thanked the public for their continuous tip-offs that ensured that crime is decreased.
