Die polisie het met die deursoek van die verdagte huis TIK ter waarde van R65 600 gevind. Hy het op 17 Maart in die landdroshof op Upington verskyn en is op borgtog vrygelaat.

DRUG DEALER ARRESTED FOR DEALING IN DRUGS
PABALLELO: On Friday morning 13 March 2020, an African male, Lawrence Okike was arrested for dealing in drugs during a joint operation between Paballelo police and Upington Border police.
The suspect was caught with tik which had an estimated street value of R65 600.00 during the execution of a search warrant at his house. He appeared at the Upington Magistrates Court, yesterday and was released on bail.
The Provincial Commissioner of the Northern Cape, Lieutenant General Risimati Peter Shivuri praised the police for their pro-active action. The dealing and using of drugs are responsible for the moral decay of our society. “As the police, we will not stop to eradicate this social ill as it is one of the major root causes of crime in society.
