NC: POSTMASBURG SAPS ERADICATES CRIME
On 18 March 2020 at approximately 08:00 members of the Postmasburg Reaction team followed up on information regarding a firearm in Newtown.
The members searched the premises and found the 24 year old occupant still sleeping. The police recovered a firearm and one magazine.
The suspect was arrested and charged with illegal possession of a firearm and will soon appear in the Postmasburg Magistrates court.
The Station Commander of Postmasburg police , Lt Col Andries Witbooi commended the members and appreciated the community for the information provided which led to another illegal firearm being removed from criminals. End
