WELKOM – Twee verdagtes, 20 en 21, gaan vandag in die Welkom-landdroshof op aanklag van die besit van vermoedelik gesteelde vee verskyn.

Thabong: Two suspects aged 20 and 21 will appear in Welkom Magistrates’ Court on Friday, 13 March 2020 on a charge of possession of suspected stolen stock.
On Wednesday 11 March 2020 members of Welkom Public Order (POP) Reaction Anti-Gang Unit (AGU) nabbed two suspected stock thieves after a following an intelligence driven information about suspicious stolen sheep at one of the houses in New Stands, Thabong.
On arrival they found 10 sheep in the shack with (two) 2 carcasses. Two suspects were also inside the shack and were arrested on the scene. On further searching, a cash amount of R800.00 was found in their possession. Investigation continues.
