PRIESKA – Die polisie op Prieska het saam met verskeie departemente van die plaaslike regering ’n bewustheidsveldtog in die gemeenskap gehou.

NC: PRIESKA SAPS RAISE AWARENESS IN COMMUNITY
The sector commander in Prieska, Constable Caroline Farao initiated door –to-door campaigns ,accompanied by members from Visible Policing, Support personnel, CPF, FCS, the Department of Health, Social Development (FAMSA) and Local Government this morning from 07:00 until 12:00.
The group took to the streets of Prieska where the members interacted and engaged with community members at their homes and the streets.
Pamphlets were distributed relating to Domestic Violence, Alcohol and drug abuse, as well as Gender based violence.
The community welcomed the presence of the police in the community as they were also increasing visibility in the area which acted as a deterrent for criminals. They also requested the community to raise their concerns and the expectations they have for the police in Prieska and how the SAPS can improve their services to the community.
