BELGRAVIA: An alleged burglar was stopped in his tracks by Scorp Security’s Neighbourhood-Watch guards last night.
Johannes Buffel, supervisor at Scorp Security, told FiND-iT that while on patrol, the security guards in the Belgravia area, spotted a man on a roof in Milner Street. The man was allegedly loosening roof tiles to gain access to the home.
The guards reacted swiftly and stopped the burglar in his tracks.
Wickus Coetzee, owner of Scorp Security, says that the Belgravia and Herlear areas are regularly targeted these days. “There was another burglary in this area last night as well.”
