SUID-ARIKA – Totalsports het in afwagting van die eindstryd van die rugbywêreldbeker plakkate van Eben Etzebeth in hulle winkels verwyder.
Die kettingwinkel het die besluit op hulle Facebook-blad aangekondig.
“Ons het die omstredenheid oor Eben Etzebeth in ons winkels gevoel. As ’n handelsmerk doen ons nie omstredenheid nie, ons doen sport. Daarom het ons die besluit geneem om sy plakkaat te verwyder. Sonder beoordeling en sonder om kant te kies. Ons wil verseker alle klante voel gemaklik in ons winkels,” lui Totalsports se verklaring.
Die plasing het sedert 1500 menings uitgelok en is 577 maal gedeel.
Leturshia Barrows Dehning sê: (sic) “One of your stores have a pair of adidas and puma’s for me. Might be small fry to you but consider that R3000 sale gone! Won’t see my business again!‼️ by removing the poster you did pick a side and you made a grave mistake in the process! Cheers”
