The skeletal remains of a man were found in Greenbushes near an informal settlement in Eastern Cape on Sunday morning, 27 March 2022.
Colonel Priscilla Naidu, police spokesperson says on Sunday children were playing in the bushes near Zwelindinga informal settlement in Greenbushes when they stumbled onto the skeleton.

Police suspect that the person may have died about six months ago. Neatly packed wood was lying next to the deceased.
The deceased was attired in a yellow T-shirt, khaki pants, and a brown/khaki belt. His Converse black and white takkies and two black beanies were lying next to him. He is about 1,6 m in height.

Police urged people to assist in identifying the deceased through his clothing or share the information if they know of anyone who may have gone to collect wood or anyone who may have been missing for a long time.
