Toyota SA and Toyota Cheetahs announce renewal of sponsorship

Toyota South Africa Motors (TSAM) announced the renewal of the Toyota Free State Cheetahs’ sponsorship for another three years spanning into 2025.

This will stretch Toyota’s involvement with the Toyota Cheetahs to 15 years.

This contract will still include the title sponsorship for the Toyota Cheetahs’ International competitions, Currie Cup and other local competitions as well as junior teams.

The sponsorship will again include the Toyota Stadium naming rights as well as the naming rights of the Toyota Cheetahs Academy, a fertile breeding ground for the next-generation Toyota Cheetahs’ players.

“Toyota is displaying unrivalled commitment to the Toyota Cheetahs with this extension of the sponsorship for another three years,” says Ross van Reenen, Chief Executive Officer of the Toyota Cheetahs.

“The world has changed immensely over the last two years and the Toyota Cheetahs faced the most difficult period in their 126-year existence, but the team are known for being innovative, resilient and most of all tenacious …. their fighting spirit is revered,” he added.
