The White House has warned that Russia could use chemical weapons in Ukraine to force them to agree to their demands before the war ends.
Jen Psaki, the White House press secretary, dismissed the false allegations by Russia that the US is developing chemical weapons in Ukraine.
Maria Zakarova, The Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman, accused the Ukraine of running producing chemical weapons with the help of the US.
Psaki dismissed these allegations by the Russians and said it could be the Russian’s plan to use chemical weapons on the people of Ukraine. She called the allegation made by Russia “preposterous”, saying the White House would not allow that.
Psaki tweeted on Wednesday, saying: “Now that Russia has made these false claims, and China has seemingly endorsed this propaganda, we should all be on the lookout for Russia to possibly use chemical or biological weapons in Ukraine, or to create a false flag operation using them.”
