Playing badly or in top form? It doesn’t matter … the Soweto derby usually throws the form book out of the window.
Both teams haven’t been doing well lately, yet not doing so bad again.
Kaizer Chiefs star Khama Billiat enjoys taking on Orlando Pirates as he has scored 7 goals and provided 6 assists against them in his career.

However, it seems like Billiat doesn’t want numbers to get him carried away as it would affect the outcome of the game.
“It is a big game, but I always want to play the game – and not the occasion – and not get carried away.
“We are old enough to not let little things affect the outcome of the game. We want to be professional about the game. We want to enjoy it and win it,” Billiat told Chiefs’ media office when asked about his stats against Pirates.
Billiat was Chiefs’ late match winner in their last league game against Baroka on Saturday and he is all focused on the preparation ahead of the big Soweto Derby.

“I feel we can only do well if we concentrate on our game. If we follow the instructions and go into the game with the correct state of mind, how we train and how the week goes will also determine how well we do,” Billiat added.
In 16 league appearances this season, Billiat has had a hand in 12 goals for Chiefs, making 6 assists and scoring six goals.
