Marumo Gallants were reportedly instructed by FIFA to pay R 2 million to Gustavo Paez for terminating his contract unlawfully when the club was still known as Tshakuma Tsha Madzivhandila.
Paez revealed that Marumo Gallents have been banned by FIFA to sign players in the next three transfer windows.
“Has something come out there in South Africa regarding the suspension of transfers for Marumo Gallants?” said Paez as per KickOff.
“It happened yesterday where they were banned for three consecutive transfer periods, where they can’t sign a national or international player,” Paez added.
However, Marumo Gallants CEO Abram Sello claimed that they haven’t seen anything tangible in the issue.
“I hear people talking about that one but it has not yet reached us,” Sello said as per KickOff.
“If it comes let’s see what issue happened with the old TTM management and then we will sort it out. For now, it’s just hearsay I haven’t seen something tangible on that one.
“So when it comes we will address it accordingly, we will also check and see how we sort it out.
