The police in Galeshewe are investigating an inquest case following the discovery of human remains in a veld near Madiba Square Shanties in Galeshewe on 15 February 2022.
Serg. Timothy Sam, police spokesperson, says preliminary investigations show that a dog was spotted by a resident mauling a human arm inside a yard of a shanty in Madiba Square and alerted the police. The police then combed the area in search of the body.
The body was found just after 11:00.
According to residents, a woman went missing about two weeks ago and they suspect it was her body that was found.
According to one of the residents in the area where the arm was found, it was the arm of a woman. The arm was also badly burned.
