A clinic in Pretoria was targeted by burglars who made off with 25 computers and other equipment.
The clinic was broken into on Friday and according to the City of Tshwane MMC for Health, the burglars left “extensive damage” in their wake.
“I personally visited the clinic… to assess the extent of the damage and it became immediately clear that the damage was extensive. The intruders used crowbars to force access into the building, damaging the main gate and doors,” the MMC said. She added that no medication was stolen.
The clinic has resumed operation but some admin functions have been affected.
