A woman is missing and her car was found abandoned. Police are now requesting the community’s help in locating Sylvia Wittal (45).
Wittal was reported missing by her ex-husband on 2 January 2022 after he could not get in touch with her for a while.

According to her ex-husband, he apparently last spoke to her on the phone on Thursday 30 December 2021 to make arrangements for their two children. When he did not hear from her again after that, he reported her missing.
Her silver Kia Picanto, was found by police at Sacramento, Schoenmakerskop, Gqeberha, yesterday. According to eyewitnesses in the area, the vehicle had been parked there for the past two days. Police are currently searching the area for Wittal in the surrounding forests and on the beaches.
