Today Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu’s body is in state at St George’s Cathedral.

Family and public continue to pay their last respects to the Arch.

Earlier on long queues were formed outside St George’s Cathedral in honour of the Arch at Cape Town as members of the public arrived on Thursday to bid farewell to Archbishop Desmond Tutu.

According to the Arch’s wishes, he asked for his wishes to be honoured with a casket which is simple and basic, lacking any form of extravagance.
