The former 7de Laan actor Denver Vraagom was rushed to hospital after he started coughing up blood.
The actor and TV presenter told Huisgenoot that he started to feel unwell a week ago.
His wife and fellow actor, Ingrid Paulus, persuaded him to consult the doctor when he began coughing up blood.
When Denver Vraagom encountered the health scare again, his wife Ingrid insisted that he must get admitted. The couple has been married for 16 years and have two children, aged 16 and 2.
Despite the health scare, the actor said that he feels better as he awaits the test results.
The TV presenter will be celebrating his 50th birthday on 13 January 2022.
