The Gauteng High Court on Wednesday declared that the decision taken by Arthur Fraser to put ex-president Jacob Zuma on medical parole was “unlawful”.
Judge Elias Matojane also found that Correctional Services Commissioner, Arthur Fraser, was not entitled to order the release of former president, Jacob Zuma.
It has also been declared that the time Zuma spent out of prison on medical parole, will not be deducted from his sentence of 15 months.
Former president Jacob Zuma was released from prison, because of an undisclosed medical condition.
