On Spar Plattekloof’s Facebook page, the Spar local merchandise released a press release on 12th December 2021, and it reads as follows;
“We are aware of the post doing rounds asking outside merchandisers and reps for proof of vaccination.
We would like to assure the public, that we have no vaccine mandate in our store, towards staff and customers or suppliers, it stays each individual’s choice.
We have no intention on introducing a mandate at any point in the future.
Everyone is welcome in our store, ”
