Jannie du Plessis received a touching reception on his return to the field of play.
On his return to the field as a replacement for the Lions against the Stormers game – comes after he tragically losing his son in a drowning accident last month.
Having been afforded the opportunity to take a compassionate leave; Jannie braved his return to the rugby field of this past weekend.
Being dubbed as one South Africa’s best rugby players, he holds unquestionable, unparalleled to none sport accolades for rugby, which includes being one of the three members of the 1995 Rugby World Cup winners, as the one of the fee players to earn the World Cup and Currie Cup winners medals in the same year.
